Hokusai Series #3 - Gizzard Shad/Kohada

Inspired by the Charmingwall.com 6×6 competition and the classic Hokusai wave, this canvas measures 6×6″ and is painted in oil with the addition of gashapon, Japanese gumball machine toys to create the wave pattern. Here, it is miniature kohada, or gizzard shad which creates the wave.
